Sordid Flesh
First out tonight! I hadn't heard them before so was a bit curious because I had heard the name at least. And it sounded really nice actually! Helped a lot by great sound of course! I did enjoy their set, but it was somewhat too much of the same. Every song had pretty much the same structure and sound so... But nevertheless a very solid show!

Crucifyre
Third time I see these guys! And as I've said before they are a very solid live band, lots of experience in there. They just went up and did their thing and they did it good! And again helped by the great sound, the sound guy did an awesome job this night!
Tonight they actually played two new songs. One was really fast, Wolf Hour, and the other was super heavy, Funeral Pyre. Both sounded really nice! Still sticking to the oldschool sound and mixing fast and slow, so they really mixed into the set really well.
So basically this was like the other times I've seen them! Really nice!

Nominon
Nominon are one of those bands that have been around for ages (early nineties) but has never really gotten the recognition of the other bands from that time like Entombed etc! I guess it has to do with them not releasing so many albums as well as constant line-up changes... nevertheless they do have a underground following! Which this night proved if nothing else, for example there was two girls and a guy who flew up from Italy to see them...!
Anyhow, since they play so rarely I was really happy to get a chance to see them! I actually hadn't heard the new line-up at all before this with a new singer and all... but it sounded great anyway! And not only did it sound good, they seemed really pumped to play as well! I don't know if it was the crowd giving energy to the band or the band giving energy to the crowd... But a lot of energy was given and taken and there was a great atmosphere!
So all in all it was a great night! And extra props to the sound guy! Usually the sound at these kind of gigs can be pretty bad but tonight it was great! And hopefully I get a chance to see Nominon again soon, because that was a blast!
