So, I finally decided to move my concerts reviews away from Myspace. It worked once upon a time, but these days it feels like a struggle against bugs and extremely poor web design just to browse that page, never mention posting in the blog.

But since I've written my small reviews of almost every gig I've been to since 2006 I obviously didn't want to lose that. So I simply moved it all to this blog instead. I've clumped the shows together into chunks of time for convenience when copying it all, and you can find it all here in reversed chronological order pretty much.

If you've read my stuff before, then cheers to you! But if you haven't and are curious about what shows I like and my style then I've tried to pick some highlights for you here - since I've been to quite a lot of gigs these past years it could be quite a project to read it all...
But the gigs I remember most fondly and recommend you to read are the following:
Opeth 20 Years Anniversary - You should have been there.
Dismember 20 Years Anniversary - 20 years of Dismember, with every line-up on stage... in this batch there are some other goodies like Opeth, Vader, Grave and Witchcraft as well.
UNLEASHED bringing a deadly line up - UNLEASHED gathered a little Death/Thrash Metal festival to tour with, you can read it here.
Hellfest 2010 - It was simply insane.
House of Metal 2010 - Epic taco. Oh, and Hypocrisy + Behemoth.
Månegarm's releasefest for Nattväsen - Månegarm+Thyrfing+Skyforger. Hell yeah! Also in this batch are stuff like Desultory, Amon Amarth, Katatonia, Porcupine Tree, Septic Flesh...
And of course I have to recommend the really long reads in Wacken 2007 (Possessed! Destruction! Immortal!), Wacken 2008 (At the Gates! Iron Maiden!) and Close-Up Festival 2006 (Bolt Thrower, Amon Amarth, Opeth and Satyricon!).

So there, I guess that's a decent introduction to this blog. In the future I'll keep posting my reviews after every show I've been to. Just like normal. Hope you'll enjoy it!
