Nattas + Krow, Stockholm 21/9-2013
Kategori: Concerts
So a bit of a delay on this post... I kind of forgot to write anthing about it... heh. And since it was a while back I'll keep it short as memory fades...
Krow
First band of the night was Krow from Brazil. Death/Thrash... and you could clearly hear they were from South America. I'd say that if you mix old Sepultura with Slayer you'd be pretty close in sound. Intense stuff, fast stuff with a cool rhythm going on.
I heard this was the first tour they could do without paying for anything themselves. And that's really cool to hear, because this was pretty damn good stuff. Hope the trend continues upwards for them!
Nattas
This is what happens if you mix bibleblack with Wolf and "The Steel" (Ronnie Bergerstål). It sounds a lot like bibleblack with Kacper on vocals and Mike Wead on guitar, obviously. But that's certainly not a bad thing. I'd say they sound like Blackened Thrash or so... but if you ask them, they will say "We have thought long and hard about this, because people ask us all the time... and we have finally come up with an answer. We play Satanic Chick Metal."
As you might be able to discern... they're not the most serious band around. And with Kacper being an awesome frontman with lots of funny talk inbetween songs (he even cited Nietzsche, how about that for a Metal-show?) you get a nice mix of hard music, and fun times. And this was Ronnie's first show with the band, and as always he's like a drum machine back there. Mike Wead is always awesome to see as well, his particular style could be recognized anywhere. Really nice show!
